OBJECTIVES
From reading to e-writing with 21st century skills (KS2)
- 
Enabling students to use self-regulated reading strategies in the three stages of reading, i.e. before, while and after 
- 
Enabling students to use self-regulated writing strategies in the three stages of writing, i.e. before, while and after 
- 
Connecting students' reading and writing to better facilitate the process of writing 
- 
Enhancing students' reading and writing competence through the use of 21st century skills, including creativity, critical thinking and collaboration 
- 
Providing opportunities for students to develop and experience 21st century skills through the use of e-learning tools and collaborative activities 
- 
Enhancing students' motivation and confidence in English writing

Learning English with drama fun (KS2)
- 
Providing students with opportunities to use English in real-life situations where English is used together with non-verbal language (e.g. facial expressions, body movements and tone of voice) 
- 
Enhancing the motivation of students in English learning as they will experience learning in a social setting, with different people assuming different roles 
- 
Enabling students to build up their confidence and motivation through purposeful use of the language, for example, offering ideas, stating reasons/opinions, feelings, making decisions and building something of their own 
- 
Providing collaborative drama activities for students to learn with their peers

From reading to collaborative writing with 21st century skills (KS3)
- 
Enhancing students' confidence and motivation in English reading and writing 
- 
Enabling students to use self-regulated reading and writing strategies as well as e-learning resources/tools during the before, while and after learning stages 
- 
Connecting reading and writing to better improve students' English writing 
- 
Creating opportunities for students to learn 21st century skills (critical thinking, creativity and collaboration) through collaborative learning activities 
- 
Enhancing students' English competence through e-learning resources/tools 
EXPECTED NUMBER OF BENEFICIARIES
From reading to e-writing with 21st century skills (KS2)
- 
30 participating schools (30 students + 5 teachers from each school) = 900 students and 150 teachers

Learning English with drama fun (KS2)
- 
20 participating schools (30 students + 5 teachers from each school) = 600 students and 100 teachers

From reading to collaborative writing with 21st century skills (KS3)
- 
30 participating schools (30 students + 5 teachers from each school) = 900 students and 150 teachers
